Common use of antipsychotics shown ineffective for delirium in intensive care patients

It’s so ironic, we don’t understand the human brain, but allow shrinks to give doses of random psychotropics at their discretion– and then YEARS later, we realize it was ineffective and quite possibly damaging to all the patients.

Most people just need to talk through their problems, as most psychiatric drugs are incredibly and irreversibly harmful. (Withdrawal from psych. drugs can cause a huge brain overload/ episode, and needs to be done very carefully. Cf. the work of Dr. Peter Breggin.) We need friends and community, not medications and incarceration.

I write about the dichotomies present in religion, gathered mostly from discussions with average Jews, Christians, Muslims and atheists.
